7 months agoSlept on. Good pours with average drink prices. Currently (April 2025) they give 1 off well if u ride ur motorcycle there. Food is ok but nothing to write home about. They have board games and super cool velvet art on the walls. Great place to chill alone or with friends. I like how they have a retro tv in the corner playing random vhs movies. Music is random (which I like), will they be playing punk? 80s? 90s? Rock? Heavy metal? Who knows!! They also have tables outside and speakers so u can hear the music while smoking/vaping

7 months agoBeen going to Star Bar since they have opened and thru changes in management it's maintained it's place as a rocker hub. Good to know some things don't change in Portland.

7 months agoThis place is so awesome! Definitely check it out! Super bomb Waffle fries and our bartender Aba was so sweet and amazing! Such phenomenal customer service and she was so fun and nice! Yall definitely have a regular customer now! Thanks for the awesome experience, me and friends will be back!

7 months agoIt’s really sad to see a great place that wants to pull the lgbt flags out of the windows when it’s clearly the new neighborhood to be in.. There is definitely a political statement that I home the new owners can afford.

7 months agoWe bounce back and forth between Star Bar and Creepy's most nights because it's a decent place to sit down be able to talk to your buddies and slow the night down a bit. Star Bar has a good edge to it, some good food, and has never been anything but an add to an already good night.
